Control cable with 1.5 sq mm copper conductor (solid Cl. 1 or stranded Cl. 2 as per IS 8130) and XLPE insulation, rated 1.1 kV (AC) / 1.5 kV (DC) to earth, available from 2 to 61 cores. Up to 5 cores are colour coded and cables above 5 cores have numbers printed on the cores. One part number covers the unarmoured (2XY), flat-strip armoured (2XFY) and round-wire armoured (2XWY) constructions, with a PVC / PVC tape inner sheath and a black PVC Type ST-2 outer sheath (FR or FRLS optional).
