6181XY - BS 7889 is a plain annealed copper cable with GP8 (XLPE) insulation to BS 7655-1.3 and a Type 9 PVC sheath to BS 7655-4.2, rated 600/1000 V and -15°C to 90°C. It is suitable for power and lighting circuits and building wiring in semi flush exposed conduits, embedded conduits and closed installation ducts, and is described as ideal for internal wiring of appliances.
