6181Y - BS 6004 is a PVC insulated, PVC sheathed copper cable for power and lighting circuits and building wiring in semi flush exposed conduits, embedded conduits and closed installation ducts; it is also described as ideal for internal wiring of appliances. The conductor is plain annealed copper (1.5 and 2.5 sq mm Class 1, 4 to 35 sq mm stranded Class 2) with TI 1 PVC insulation in blue or brown and a Type 6 PVC sheath in grey RAL 7001. Voltage rating is 300/500 V for 1.5 to 35 sq mm.
