ADEKA ULTRASEAL is a chemically modified natural rubber product with a hydrophilic agent bonded to the rubber, giving controlled expansion on exposure to moisture ('double locking' waterstop). A stainless steel wire mesh embedded in the material controls length and width expansion. It resists chemical contaminants, works in sea water or cement water and contains no toxic substances or heavy metals.

Applications

• Below grade concrete joint work where water intrusion must be prevented
• Replacement of conventional waterstop
• Piping penetrations where pipe diameter exceeds 600 mm
