Armix Retard is a chloride free water reducing / retarding admixture based on selected hydroxy carboxylic materials, supplied as a brown solution that disperses instantly in water. It disperses the fine cement particles so the water content works more effectively, and delays initial hydration of the cement, delaying the setting time with no adverse effect on subsequent stiffening and strength gain.
