The Ashirvad Water Hammer Arrestor is designed to eliminate the destructive forces, noise and vibration caused by water hammer when flow in a pipe line is stopped abruptly. It incorporates a precharged, permanently sealed air chamber that absorbs the shock; the sealed chamber prevents loss of air to the water. It may be installed in new or existing plumbing systems with a standard pipe tee, vertically or horizontally.
