Astral CPVC PRO pipes are made from Astral's own CPVC compound (cell class DP 110-2-3-2 per IS:15778) with a maximum service temperature of 93°C. They are produced in copper tube size from 15 mm (½ in) to 50 mm (2 in) in SDR 11, which is Class 1 as per IS:15778 and also complies with ASTM D2846. SDR 11 and SDR 13.5 pipes use identical compound but different wall thickness, so the pressure rating differs at a given temperature. The pipe is tan coloured with a red stripe and is joined by solvent cement.
