GP Prime 402 is a two-component, moisture-curing zinc (ethyl) silicate coating. It complies with the compositional requirements of SSPC-Paint 20, Level 1, and is suitable as a system primer in paint systems based on various binders. It gives excellent corrosion protection of steel with a suitable top coat and can replace GP Prime 205 HV where an inorganic zinc silicate is required.
