About this product
GypSerra C Stud is the vertical supporting wall framing of the GypSerra partition system, listed in 48, 70, 92 and 146 mm widths with 34 x 36 mm flanges and lengths of 3050 or 3660 mm. Serration improves flatness on walls and reduces the risk of cracks developing in joints.
Key features
- Al-Zn 150 gsm coating
- Serrated GypSerra profile
- Serrated C-stud shows 8% less deflection under self weight (0.035 mm vs 0.038 mm) and 30% higher twist resistance (2.45 mm vs 3.61 mm) than knurled C-stud
- Significant wall flatness and reduced risk of cracks developing in joints
- Screws do not slip, so plasterboards are not damaged during installation
- Serrated (GypSerra) profile: 8% more surface area than plain sheet and effective surface thickness doubled (2T)
- Stronger surface due to work hardening
- load carrying capacity 10% higher than knurled sections
- Al-Zn coating of 150 gsm (corrosion resistance up to 5 times that of Zn 120 gsm)
- Gyproc logo embossed on every section
- centre of the section is easy to identify for screwing plasterboards
- Longitudinal ribs give stiffness and help alignment
- sections are easy to cut on site
- Serrated sheet shows 27% improved sheet capacity (1.207 vs 1.663 deflection) compared with knurled sheet
Applications
- Vertical support in wall framing
- Vertical support in drywall partition wall framing
