Gypwall is a Gyproc drywall partition system: a GI steel stud frame at 610 mm centres encased with Gyproc gypsum plasterboards on either side, fixed with self-drilling drywall screws, joints taped and finished with jointing compound. The Classic selector lists twenty configurations on C studs rated 30 minutes (Medium duty), 60 and 90 minutes (Severe duty) per BS 476 Part 22, with single or double board layers and optional 50 mm insulation.
