Gypwall is a Gyproc drywall partition system: a GI steel stud frame at 610 mm centres encased with Gyproc gypsum plasterboards on either side, fixed with self-drilling drywall screws, joints taped and finished with jointing compound. The Hydro selector lists eight configurations rated 30 and 60 minutes (BS 476 Part 22). Systems 3 and 4 use one layer of plain board on the inside and MR board on the outer side of each face.
