Gypwall is a Gyproc drywall partition system: a GI steel stud frame at 610 mm centres encased with Gyproc gypsum plasterboards on either side, fixed with self-drilling drywall screws, joints taped and finished with jointing compound. The Quiet selector lists thirteen configurations on C studs and Acou studs with 25 or 50 mm insulation, rated 30, 60 and 90 minutes (BS 476 Part 22), with acoustic ratings from Rw 43 to 61 dB.
