About this product
The ARV Assemblies page explains that water contains dissolved air (normally about 2% in fresh water) and that air trapped in the line restricts flow and amplifies pressure surges. Air valves should be placed at all high points or significant changes in grade, and at least every 500-1,000 metres on long rising grades or flat runs at the engineer's discretion. Four assemblies are listed with code, size and number of outlets; air expelled, connection type and size can be provided as per requirement.
Applications
- Pipeline air release at high points and changes in grade
