JB-YSY is a screened flexible cable with a special PVC inner jacket, galvanised steel wire braid and a transparent special PVC outer sheath (also available in grey). The steel braid protects against mechanical damage and the galvanised coating resists corrosion and improves soldering properties. Part numbers carry a 'z' placeholder to be replaced by the sheath colour suffix: 3 = grey (RAL 7001), 6 = transparent. Adapted to DIN/BS EN 50525-2-51.
