About this product
Kamdhenu Nxt is a double rib TMT bar with an angular double rib design for which Kamdhenu Limited holds the rights to manufacture, market and sell. It is produced through quenching, tempering and cooling stages, with water pressure optimised for core and surface, and a CNC notch cutting machine gives a uniform rib pattern for bonding with concrete. The brochure states it meets BIS specifications and complies with BS (British Standards), and compares its properties with IS 1786 Fe-500 and BS 4449.
Key features
- Exceptional double rib design for a stronger interlock bond
- 2.5 times stronger concrete-steel interlock (ratio of load/bond strength)
- Advanced earthquake resistance
- Superior thermal resistance
- Better corrosion resistance for longer life span
- High ductile strength
- Extensive application range
- Compatible with skyline structures (new-age high-rise buildings)
- Uniform rib pattern from CNC notch cutting machine
- Three-stage process: quenching, tempering and cooling, with water pressure controlled for core and surface
Applications
- Bridges
- Flyovers
- Dams
- Thermal and hydel plants
- Industrial towers
- Skyline (high-rise) buildings
