KEI manufactures EHV cables up to 400 kV in technical collaboration with BRUGG. The cables use stranded compacted copper or aluminium conductors with extruded super-clean XLPE insulation, semi-conductive screens, radial water barrier or metallic sheath and a choice of outer sheaths; sizes go up to 2500 sq mm.
