Li2YCY PiMF is used for absolute disturbance-free data transfer for installed terminals in all areas of medicine and data technology, and is also suitable for machine tool and steel producing industries, traffic signal systems, assembly lines and food processing. Each pair is twisted and wrapped in plastic coated aluminium foil with a tinned copper drain wire (100% coverage); the PiMFs are stranded in layers, wrapped with plastic tapes and covered by an overall copper braided screen (85% coverage) and a grey (RAL 7032) special PVC TM2 sheath. Conductors are bare copper stranded 7-wire.
