Li2Y(St)CY (TP) is a data cable with twisted pairs used for interference-free transmission of data and signals over longer distances; its high transmission rate suits RS 422 and RS 485 interfaces and it forms an integral part of SCADA systems. Cores have PE insulation, laid-up pairs are wrapped in aluminium backed PETP foil and covered by a tinned copper braided screen (approx. 85% coverage), with a grey (RAL 7032) special PVC TM2 outer sheath. It is suitable for fixed installation and for flexing applications without forced motion or tensile stress in dry and moist environments.
