Li2Y(St)CYv (TP) is the Yv type of Li2Y(St)CY (TP), with a reinforced black outer sheath suitable for outdoor application; an armoured version for underground burial is available on request. Construction is PE-insulated cores in twisted pairs, aluminium backed PETP foil over the laid-up pairs and a tinned copper braided screen (approx. 85% coverage). It is used for interference-free data and signal transmission over longer distances, including RS 422 / RS 485 interfaces and SCADA systems.
