PVC battery cable uses annealed bare copper strands with PVC insulation over a bunched conductor. The standard battery cable is Cl. 5 and the flexible battery cable is Cl. 6 to EN 60228. It is rated for a maximum of 200 V with a 1000 V test voltage and a temperature range of -30°C to +70°C, and is supplied in wooden drums.
