RE-2X(St)Y PiMF is a multi-pair instrumentation cable adapted to EN 50288-7 with twisted pairs of annealed copper conductors (BS EN 60228) and XLPE insulation. Each pair has an individual aluminium/PETP tape screen over a tinned copper drain wire (plastic tape under and above the screen), pairs are assembled in concentric layers, and a collective aluminium/PETP tape screen over tinned copper drain wire sits under the PVC sheath (black; blue for intrinsically safe systems; halogen free on request). Operating voltage is 500 V (300 V variant on request) and temperature range is -30 deg C to +90 deg C.
