RE-2X(St)Y is an instrumentation cable adapted to EN 50288-7 with twisted pairs of annealed copper conductors (BS EN 60228) insulated with crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE). Pairs are wrapped with one layer of PETP tape and covered by a collective aluminium/PETP tape screen over a tinned copper drain wire, under a PVC sheath (black; blue for intrinsically safe systems; halogen free construction on request). Operating voltage is 500 V (300 V variant on request) and temperature range -30 deg C to +90 deg C.
