RE-2X(St)YSWAY PiMF is a steel wire armoured multi-pair instrumentation cable adapted to EN 50288-7 with twisted pairs of annealed copper conductors (BS EN 60228) insulated with XLPE. Each pair has an individual aluminium/PETP tape screen over a tinned copper drain wire (plastic tape under and above the screen), pairs are assembled in concentric layers under a collective aluminium/PETP tape screen over tinned copper drain wire, followed by a PVC inner sheath, galvanised round steel wire armour and a PVC outer sheath (black; blue for intrinsically safe systems; halogen free construction on request). Operating voltage is 500 V (300 V variant on request) and temperature range is -30 deg C to +90 deg C.
