RE-Y(St)Y multicore is an instrumentation cable adapted to EN 50288-7 with annealed copper conductors (BS EN 60228) insulated with PVC; cores are black, continuously numbered in white. Cores are wrapped with one layer of PETP tape and covered by a collective aluminium/PETP tape screen over a tinned copper drain wire under a PVC sheath (black; blue for intrinsically safe systems). Operating voltage is 500 V (300 V variant on request) and temperature range is -30 deg C to +70 deg C.
