RE-Y(St)Y is an instrumentation cable adapted to EN 50288-7 with twisted pairs of annealed copper conductors (BS EN 60228) insulated with PVC. Pairs are wrapped with one layer of PETP tape and covered by a collective aluminium/PETP tape screen over a tinned copper drain wire, under a PVC sheath (black; blue for intrinsically safe systems). Pairs are identified black and white with continuous numbering on the white core. Operating voltage is 500 V (300 V variant on request) and temperature range -30 deg C to +70 deg C.
