About this product
RoboAggregates are obtained by crushing parent rock through a three-stage configuration of a Jaw Crusher, a Cone Crusher and a Vertical Shaft Impactor (VSI), giving cubical particles with consistent gradation and better bonding at the aggregate-cement paste interface. They are used as a base material under foundations, roads, rail roads and landfills, and with RoboSand to produce PCC, RCC, normal and high strength concrete, and speciality concretes such as self-compacting and pre-stressed concrete. Both the 20 mm and 10 mm grades conform to IS 383 - Graded Aggregates.
Key features
- Good quarry source
- Perfect gradation
- Consistent quality standards
- Assured quantities
- Cubical particle shape - high compressive strength of concrete
- Internal gradation per IS 383 - reduction in voids increases workability
- Surface texture - reduction in moisture absorption / lower water cement ratio
- Greater durability - longevity of structure / higher resistance to an aggressive environment
- Zero impurities (marine and organic) - reduction in wastage and increase in economic value
- Better bonding at the interface of aggregates with cement paste
Applications
- Base material under foundations
- Base material under roads and rail roads
- Base material under landfills
- Under culverts, bridges, driveways, storm drains and transformer yards (stable foundation to prevent differential settling)
- New infrastructure work and maintenance of existing infrastructure
- PCC and RCC
- Normal strength and high strength concrete
- Self-compacting concrete
- Pre-stressed concrete
