About this product
SAIL TMT EQR is a thermo-mechanically treated rebar with high ductility (UTS/YS ratio), higher and uniform elongation and a narrow range of yield strength. It is used for RCC in buildings, bridges and other concrete structures, and is particularly suitable for earthquake-prone zones.
Key features
- High ductility (UTS/YS ratio)
- Higher elongation and uniform elongation
- Narrow range of yield strength
- Excellent bendability
- Good weldability
- High fatigue resistance on dynamic loading
Applications
- Reinforced concrete construction (RCC) in buildings, bridges and other concrete structures
- Particularly suitable for earthquake-prone zones
