SiD is a single core cable with a solid tinned copper conductor and silicone insulation. SiD and SiD-GL are employed in control cabinet manufacturing, the electric motor industry, lighting technology, heating equipment and air conditioning systems. It is halogen-free and adapted to VDE 0250 part 1 and 502.
