About this product
SiHF are silicone multicore cables for areas with extreme temperature changes. They are halogen-free, suited to installation in power stations and used in steel, aviation, ship building, ceramic, glass and cement industries. Owing to the elastic core insulation they serve as flexible connection cable. They have a tinned copper Class 5 conductor, silicone core insulation and a red-brown silicone outer jacket, and are adapted to DIN VDE 0250 part 1 and part 816.
Key features
- Tinned copper conductor Class 5 to EN 60228
- Silicone core insulation and silicone outer jacket (red brown)
- Temperature range -50°C to +180°C (up to +220°C for short time)
- Dielectric strength hardly changes at high temperatures
- forms insulating SiO2 layer in fire
- Halogen-free (IEC 60754-2)
- Core identification to DIN VDE 0293-308 (colour coded or black with white numbers)
Applications
- Areas with extreme temperature changes
- Power stations
- Steel producing industries
- Aviation industry
- Ship building
- Ceramic, glass and cement factories
- Flexible connection cable
