SXL is a special purpose cross-linked polyolefin insulated cable with extra thick insulation walls, used in automotive electric circuits of motorcycles and off-road vehicles. It is made to SAE J1128 with soft annealed electrolytic copper conductors (ASTM B3) and heat resistant cross-linked polyethylene insulation. It is rated -40°C to +125°C (3000 hrs).
