Jointing and finishing stages: with framing and boarding complete, clean the surface; fill the joints between boards with jointing compound and embed paper tape, covering all screw heads with compound; spread the first coat 100-150 mm wide on the tape and sand with fine sandpaper when fully dry; apply a second coat 200-250 mm wide and let it dry; apply a third finishing coat 300-450 mm wide; ensure the sanding level of boards before handing over for final paint.
