Corroprotect is an UltraTech VAC (Very Amazing Concrete) built with a patented technology of traversing type corrosion inhibitor (TTCI). TTCI vapours with affinity to rebars migrate through dense concrete, reach the rebars and form a layer on them, creating an ionic shield that blocks corrosive elements and protects the steel. The brochure says this gives up to 4X better protection against corrosion and a longer maintenance-free life, and that it addresses the weakness of epoxy-coated rebars which are prone to damage at site.
