These XLPE/PVC 3 core flat cables are mainly used for pump connection, supplying power to pumps and also used in industrial applications; they are specially manufactured for severe, tough and difficult conditions. The conductor is electrolytic grade annealed plain copper to EN 60228 (Class 2 for 1 to 2.5 sq mm, Class 5 for others) with XLPE insulation and a PVC ST-2 sheath to IEC 60502-1. Core colours are red, yellow (centre core) and blue, the sheath is black and the voltage grade is up to and including 1100 V; standard packing is 100 m coils.
