Control cable rated 1.1 kV (AC) and 1.5 kV (DC) to earth with 2.5 sq mm copper conductor (solid Cl. 1 or stranded Cl. 2 as per IS 8130) and PVC Type A insulation (0.9 mm nominal; HR PVC Type C optional). Available from 2 to 61 cores; up to 5 cores are colour coded and cables above 5 cores have numbers printed on the cores. One part number covers the unarmoured (YY), flat-strip armoured (YFY) and round-wire armoured (YWY) constructions, with a PVC / PVC tape inner sheath and a black PVC Type ST-1 outer sheath (ST-2, FR or FRLS optional).
